Los juegos más destacados del año para parte de la prensa especializada brillan hoy más que nunca con el anuncio de los nominados en The Game Awards. Estos premios se fallarán el 7 de diciembre y un jurado compuesto por 51 medios de todo el globo es el responsable de seleccionar a los candidatos entre lo más florido del año.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn, Super Mario Odyssey y Destiny 2 son los títulos que acaparan más nominaciones con 6. Cuphead se encontraría un escalón por debajo y el podio se cerraría con Persona 5 y Wolfenstein II. PlayerUnkonw’s Battlegrounds, o el fenómeno de la temporada, acumula tres nominaciones, entre ellas a mejor juego del año.

Nintendo se hace la competencia con Breath of the Wild y Odyssey. También me gustaría destacar la nominación de Metroid: Samus Retuns, único juego patrio nominado en esta edición –desarrollado por Mercury Steam-.
